We finally had our appointment on April 5th for another attempt to find out what we were having. Luckily this time our little one wasn't so modest, this is going to be the only time I'm accepting of showing off the goods. Anyhow we finally found out ITS A GIRL! John and I are sooooo excited. A little background when I was born my parents told me that my thumb was all chapped, since ultrasounds weren't available back then, the Dr. told them that I was sucking my thumb in the womb, which they soon found out because I was totally a thumb sucker. So fast forward to our appointment and we started the ultrasound the first thing we see is our baby girl sucking her thumb. I have to say it was the cutest thing, it totally made John and I laugh, Dr. Epstein got a picture so I will have to post it.
John has been on cloud nine since finding out I was pregnant and I think finding out sent him over the top. He is so cute and so excited to have kids and start a family. I feel pretty blessed that I won't ever have to talk him into having kids, infact it might be the opposite. I LOVE kids don't get me wrong but being pregnant has been eye opening and very hard for me. I rarely get sick and I have been nothing but sick, in the begining I told him I didn't know if I could do it again. Now that I've started to feel better he has asked me if I still think the same way, I had to re-assure him that I was ok with having more kids.
Anyhow we are just excited to have our little girl on the way, August can't get here fast enough!
